abundance_histograms(adata, n_cols=4, return_fig=False, **kwargs)#

Plot histograms of protein abundance for each sample in adata.

Parameters:

  • adata (anndata.AnnData) – Annotated data matrix.

  • n_cols (int, optional) – Number of columns for the subplots (default = 4).

  • return_fig (bool, optional) – If True, returns the matplotlib Figure object for further customization. If False, shows the plot.

  • **kwargs (dict) – Additional keyword arguments passed to seaborn.histplot.

Returns:

fig – The figure object if return_fig is True, otherwise None.

Return type:

matplotlib.figure.Figure or None
